I struggled deeply
From childhood into my 20s, I struggled deeply with being overweight. The teasing and bullying I endured left scars on my self-image and confidence. I was raised with a fixed mindset that left me doubting my abilities.
Throughout my youth, various diets never produced lasting change. I internalized a belief that my genetics and upbringing predetermined my health and physique.
I beat myself up
In my late 20s, I started eating better and exercising regularly. While I saw some progress, I struggled to stay motivated. My perfectionist tendencies led me to beat myself up over small setbacks and give up when results stalled.

Addressing the root issues
It wasn’t until my 30s that I addressed the root issues sabotaging my efforts. I radically shifted my mindset through personal development work. I focused less on the number on the scale and more on building lifelong wellness habits.
Through research and experimentation, I discovered my why. Healthy living allowed me to tap into my creativity and serve others through my writing and coaching. This purpose-driven approach was the breakthrough I needed to get unstuck.
Guiding others
Today at 42, I’ve made huge strides overcoming the beliefs that used to limit me. I’ve built sustainable habits that enabled me to sculpt my physique and unlock my potential from the inside out. I want to help others do the same.
My own winding journey taught me that transformational change requires addressing both mind and body. Now I fuse my experience with evidence-based strategies to guide others to become their healthiest, most confident selves.
